St Christopher's School
We are very excited to be opening a SEN Scouting Provision in January 2024 to cater for our students to give them an opportunity to access tailored Scouting activities at school to suite their needs.
Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing.
But, we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges.
From January we will be launching a Scout Section at our Secondary Site, catering for 15 students from the Formal Pathway. We taking start by learning all about scouting and part in lots of exciting and adventurous activities to earn Activity and Challenge Badges to help us develop vital #SkillsForLife.
Keeping everyone safe is fundamental to what we do. No matter what challenges we face, it’s the one area which we will never compromise on. We are proud to say that safety of young people and volunteers is at the heart of our culture.
As a group we follow both the schools Risk Assessments, Safeguarding and Health and Safety policy; as well as the UK Scouts Safety and Safeguarding Policies.

Our Scout leaders would like to spend as much time as possible on providing an exciting programme of meetings, camps and events and minimise the amount of time spent on admin. Online Scout Manager (OSM) is a brilliant system that greatly simplifies all the administrative tasks required to run a Scout group, including membership records, badge records, event organisation and last but not least online payments. Please help us by using this system to pay for your subs, camps and events by Direct Debit!
